Print on demand terms

What you agree to when you order a 3D print through PrintSol. In short: it is custom work, so it cannot be returned for a change of mind, and a faulty print is always put right.

Version 2026-11-06·Effective November 6, 2026

1. Who you buy from

You buy from Codiro BV, the company behind PrintSol, registered in the Netherlands. We take your payment and send your invoice. The print farm you choose prints your order and ships it for us.

Questions or complaints: support@getprintsol.com, or "Something wrong with this order?" on your order page.

2. What you order and what it costs

You order a 3D print made from the file you uploaded, in the material, colour, quality and quantity you chose, from the farm you chose. The total you see before you pay includes VAT and shipping. A business with a valid EU VAT number may pay no VAT: you see the final amount before paying.

3. When the order is final

You pay first. The farm then has 48 hours to accept. The contract is made when the farm accepts. If it refuses or does not answer, there is no contract and you get the whole amount back automatically.

4. Custom work: no returns for a change of mind

Every print is made for you: from your own file, to your own choice of material, colour, quality and quantity. It is not taken from a shelf and nobody else can use it. The law calls this goods made to the consumer's specifications, and for those there is no 14-day right of withdrawal (Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU; in the Netherlands, article 6:230p of the Civil Code). At checkout you confirm that you know this.

  • Until the farm accepts, you can cancel on your order page and get everything back.
  • Once the farm has accepted, you cannot cancel the order.
  • You cannot return a print because you changed your mind, ordered the wrong size or colour, or no longer need it.
  • A print that is faulty is always put right: see section 7. Nothing here takes away your legal rights when something is wrong with it.

5. Your file

You confirm that you may have the file printed: it is your own design, or the licence or its owner allows it. You may not order weapons, parts of weapons, or anything else that is illegal. We and the farm may refuse any order; you then get your money back.

The print follows your file. Check the size shown on the page before ordering. We and the farm do not check whether a design is strong enough, fits something else or is fit for what you plan to use it for. If someone claims your file breaks their rights, that is your responsibility.

6. What to expect from a 3D print

These prints are built up in layers of plastic. Visible layer lines, small marks where supports were, slight differences in size (usually a few tenths of a millimetre) and small differences in colour between batches are normal and are not faults. The 3D view on the page shows your file, not a photo of the result.

A print is not a certified product. Do not rely on it where failure could hurt someone, or for contact with food or the body, unless you have checked for yourself that it is suitable.

7. When something is wrong

If the print is not what you ordered, is broken, arrived damaged or does not arrive, tell us as soon as you can, and within two months of finding out, with "Something wrong with this order?" on your order page. Photos help. We then have it printed again or refund you, in part or in full. If we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you get your money back. Send nothing back unless we ask you to; if we do, we pay for it.

If you are a consumer, you keep your legal rights for goods that are not as agreed.

8. Delivery

The farm says when it expects to ship; that date is a good estimate, not a guarantee. You get the tracking details by e-mail when it has shipped. If the order is much later than promised, you may give us a reasonable extra time and then cancel it for a full refund. Check your address before you order: if a parcel comes back because the address was wrong, sending it again is at your cost. For a consumer, the risk of loss stays with us until the parcel is delivered.

9. Paying and refunds

You pay through Stripe. Refunds go back the way you paid. Your invoice comes from Codiro BV by e-mail.

10. Your file and your details

We use your file only to work out the price and to print your order. Nobody sees it until you order, and then only the farm you chose. That farm also gets your name, address and phone number to ship the parcel, and may use them for this order only. Files of a quote you do not order are deleted after 30 days; files of an order 30 days after it shipped or was cancelled. Details about how we handle your data are in our Privacy Policy.

11. Liability

If you buy as a business, our liability is limited to the amount of the order, and we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost profit. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

12. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. A consumer keeps the protection of the mandatory rules of the country they live in, and may go to the courts there. Please tell us first: most problems are solved with a reprint or a refund.

The terms in force on the day you order apply to that order. Their date is at the top of this page.
