Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of PrintSol. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
1. Who you are contracting with
PrintSol is operated by Codiro BV, a private limited company registered in the Netherlands. References to "we", "us" and "our" mean Codiro BV. References to "you" mean the organisation that holds the PrintSol account.
These terms take effect when you create an account and continue until the account is closed by either side.
2. What the service does
PrintSol is software for managing 3D printing production: importing orders from sales channels, scheduling work across printers, tracking material and finished-goods stock, and calculating production costs.
PrintSol communicates with your printers through bridge software that you install and run on your own hardware, on your own network. We do not operate your printers and we do not host them.
3. Your account and your team
You are responsible for keeping access credentials confidential and for everything done under your account. You may invite additional users and assign them roles; you remain responsible for their use of the service.
We require a valid email address and will use it for service notices, including security and billing matters, regardless of marketing preferences.
4. Fees, metering and billing
Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Yearly plans are charged at ten months' price for twelve months' service.
Usage above your plan's included concurrency is metered and billed in arrears at the published rate. We measure concurrency by sampling the number of simultaneously running print jobs and billing the 80th percentile across the billing period, so short peaks do not change your invoice. The current period's meter is visible in the application at all times.
We do not suspend or throttle production because you exceed your plan. Prints continue and the overage appears on your next invoice.
- Prices are exclusive of VAT, which is added where applicable.
- Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time and run to the end of the paid period.
- Yearly plans cancelled mid-term are refunded pro rata for unused whole months.
- We give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price increase, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
5. Your data
You own your data. This includes your orders, products, print files, cost settings, printer configuration and production history.
You may export your data at any time in a machine-readable format. On request we will delete it; see the Privacy Policy for retention periods and the single exception for financial records we are legally required to keep.
We process your data to provide the service. We do not sell it, and we do not use your production data to train machine-learning models offered to other customers.
6. Printer credentials
Printer access codes and local credentials are encrypted and held by the bridge software on your own hardware. They are not transmitted to us in plain text and are not readable by our staff.
You are responsible for the security of the machine running the bridge and for the network it sits on.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use PrintSol to manufacture anything unlawful in your jurisdiction, to infringe the intellectual property of others, or to attack, overload or probe our infrastructure. You must not resell access to the service without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend an account that is causing material harm to the service or to other customers, and will tell you why.
8. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-service plans. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practicable.
The bridge is designed so that your printers keep running when our service is unreachable: it holds its queue locally and reconciles when the connection returns. An outage on our side should not stop your production.
9. Limits of what we promise
PrintSol produces estimates — costs, print times, forecast dates and stock projections — from the data available to it. These are decision-support figures, not guarantees. You remain responsible for the prices you charge, the dates you promise your customers and the decisions you make.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost production, wasted material or indirect damages.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for intent or gross negligence.
10. Ending the agreement
You may close your account at any time from the application. We may terminate with 30 days' notice, or immediately for serious breach of these terms or non-payment after reminder.
After closure your data remains available for export for 30 days, then is deleted.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email and in the application at least 30 days before they take effect, and you will be asked to accept them. If you do not accept, you may cancel before they apply.
Each version is dated, and we record which version your account accepted and when.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands, without affecting consumer rights to bring proceedings elsewhere where the law gives them that right.
