Piggy bank maker: a name as a money box

The Piggy bank maker is an add-on. The name itself is the money box: a coin slot on top for coins and notes, and a screw or twist-lock cap in the back to empty it. It prints on its back without supports.

Shapes

• Letters only: the letters, made bolder and fused into one hollow body, in one colour.
• Bubble outline: the letters standing out on a thick backing with a round outline. Set the outline width and roundness. Script fonts work too.
• On a block: the name on top of a box, raised on its front, or engraved in it.

Set the length and depth, how far the name stands out (or how deep it is cut in) and move it on the front. The preview checks that the cap fits and the inside is one hollow.

Colours and the file

Pick a colour for the name and one for the body. The 3MF opens in Bambu Studio as a project with a plate picture, the parts on their own filaments in those colours. The thread is sized for the printer it is made for.

From your shop

With the WooCommerce plugin or the Shopify snippet, customers type the name and pick the options themselves; the order is made and queued by itself.
