Map shop listings to products
Link each SKU your shop sells to a PrintSol product variant, so orders route themselves to the queue.
3 min read
When PrintSol syncs your shop, it links each shop variant to a product by itself. Listings it cannot match, usually SKUs that only appear on orders, wait on the mapping screen: Products → Shop listings → products.
The mapping screen
- Needs a product: listings without a product (the default view). Mapped and All show the rest.
- Each row shows the listing's name, shop and SKU, and how many ordered units are waiting for it.
- Filter by shop when you have several, or search by SKU or name.
Map a listing
- Click "Type to find a product…", type part of the product, variant or SKU, and click the right variant.
- Or press New product: PrintSol creates a product with one variant from the listing and opens it, so you can attach its files.
Order lines that were waiting for that SKU are attached straight away. An order whose lines are now all mapped can be queued: open it on Orders and press Queue for printing.
From the product side
A variant's Shop SKU section does the same from the other direction: pick the shop, type the SKU (unmapped SKUs are suggested) and press Map SKU.
Orders where none of the items is a PrintSol product are not imported at all. Map the SKU first. An order that was skipped is only fetched again if the shop changes it later, so map new SKUs before their orders arrive.
