Selling on bol.com and Etsy with marketplace presets

Marketplaces cannot run the makers, so presets list a fixed product per design and the customer fills in the name on a PrintSol page after ordering.

On bol.com, Etsy and other marketplaces reached through Commerlo, a buyer cannot use the 3D builder. Marketplace presets solve that: per design one product whose variants are what sets the price (name length, number of keys, height or family set), each variant named and priced as a whole piece.

Turn them on

  • Product manager → Settings → Marketplace presets.
  • Refresh the drafts: the presets appear next to your normal products, with SKUs starting PS-M- and prices from your price tables.
  • Download the CSV for Commerlo or bol. It has an empty EAN column for your own branded EANs.

After the order: the personalise page

When a preset is ordered, the customer gets an e-mail with a link to their own PrintSol page. There they type the name and pick the colours; PrintSol checks the name fits the number of letters they paid for. Until it is filled in, the order waits and nothing prints.

  • The first e-mail goes out a few minutes after the order, with reminders after 24 and 48 hours.
  • For bol.com the e-mail goes to the relay address bol gives the order, so it reaches the buyer.
  • The day before the order must ship, you get a card to wait longer or cancel.
  • The link also shows on the order in PrintSol, so you can send it yourself, for example in an Etsy message.
