Phone notifications: know when a printer needs you

Choose which moments buzz your phone (filament out, a failed print, done, started) and get them as a push, WhatsApp or SMS.

Settings → Notifications sets, per person, which printer moments reach your phone: filament ran out, a print failed or a printer stopped with a real error, a print finished, a print started. The printer’s own chatter (camera, lidar, first-layer checks) never does.

Turn it on

Open PrintSol on your phone and press Turn on for this phone under Settings → Notifications. On an iPhone, first use Share → Add to Home Screen and open PrintSol from there.
Or choose WhatsApp or SMS and give your number, when your farm has a Twilio account set up.

One buzz per problem

What one printer says within 10 minutes is one notification: a filament run-out, the pause and “say which roll” update the same message quietly instead of buzzing three times. The title starts with a coloured dot: green done, blue started, amber filament, red a printer that needs you.
