What's new.
Every release, what was added and what was fixed — including the bugs. A changelog that only lists features is a marketing page.
2026.10.27-027 Oct 2026
PrintSol in Dutch, German and French
- changedThe website in Dutch, German and French at /nl, /de and /fr: home, pricing, supported printers, add-ons and integrations, with the language links and the sitemap for search engines. Help articles and the legal texts stay in English for now.
2026.10.26-726 Oct 2026
Finance, quotes, customers, invoices and a calendar
- changedFinance: what came in, what it cost and what you kept, per month, quarter or year, from each order's own costs; a 12 or 24 month chart, from collected to profit, a forecast and what needs you. Transactions and sales by channel, product (profit per print hour) and customer.
- changedQuotes priced from the real slice, with prices at other quantities and a ready-by date; the customer accepts with one link (no login) and the order goes into the queue.
- changedCustomers: everyone who bought from you, from every shop, merged by email, with their orders, quotes and notes; add customers by hand.
- changedInvoices and credit notes by Dutch rules (one series per year, BTW verlegd for EU businesses), as PDF and UBL, in your own style from the document designer (Studio plan).
- changedExpenses with receipts read by your Gemini key, monthly costs, a VAT estimate per quarter with an export for your accountant (Studio), suppliers, and a calendar with a private link for Google or Outlook.
2026.10.26-626 Oct 2026
Clicker photos with readable letters, a clear choice when the shop changed a product
- fixedClicker photos in navy or forest green showed white letters on white keys, so the keys looked blank: the letters now always stand out on the keys.
- fixedUpdate in the shop: a product changed in the shop since PrintSol sent it now shows what changed, with "Keep the shop's version" or "Use PrintSol's" (it said "changed" with nothing to choose).
2026.10.26-526 Oct 2026
Keychain prices fixed, bubble letter heights follow your prices, heart, star and cloud keychains
- fixedThe keychain creator charged its whole price per letter (€ 10,95 a letter): it is priced like every keychain now, a start and each letter. The letter creator is priced as its start, before the letters.
- fixedBubble letter prices saved on the Pricing tab now reach the bubble letter products, so the price on each height matches what the cart charges.
- changedShop plugin 2.2.8: a keychain plate as a heart, star or cloud, with the ring on its upper edge, in the builder, the 3D preview and the print.
- changedShop plugin 2.2.8: the buyer picks what hangs from a keychain (key ring, ball chain, keyring with clasp or lanyard cord); your item for it is booked on the order line, on the work label and in the true cost.
2026.10.26-426 Oct 2026
A colour per letter, dog bowl names, a sturdier keychain ring
- changedShop plugin 2.2.7: with “a different colour for every letter”, customers pick a colour for each letter (it starts on your colours in turn).
- changedEvery dog bowl design has a name of its own in its title: Deining, Duin, Kring, Poot, Kei, Ribbel, Blok, Plooi, Rots and Kluif.
- betterKeychains: the key ring is a sturdy tab joined to the plate over its full height.
- fixedShop plugin 2.2.7: the letter maker’s script and styles change version with every update, so a browser never keeps the old one.
2026.10.26-326 Oct 2026
Your own filaments in every builder, Dutch everywhere, design names in titles, better photos
- betterShop plugin 2.2.6: the clicker, letter and bubble letter builders offer your own filaments by their exact name, like the other builders (they offered a fixed list of named colours).
- fixedShop plugin 2.2.6: the 3D preview in a product page carried the farm’s secret licence key; it uses the site key now. Change the secret key after updating.
- fixedShop plugin 2.2.6: the builders’ last English texts are in Dutch (plate colour, heights, bend, drip tray, wings and more).
- fixedA planter, wall planter or vase title always ends in its design name (“– Eik”), also when Claude wrote the texts.
- fixedClicker photos showed blank keys on a busy server: each photo now waits until the letters or symbols are drawn.
- betterPiggy bank photos: a sample name of their own per product, photographed low and from the front, standing flat.
- fixedUpdate in the shop: a photo the shop could not fetch is tried once more, then the product goes without it instead of failing.
2026.10.26-226 Oct 2026
Print from the variant list, combined plates with a 3MF, clicker updates
- changedProducts: a Print button in each printable variant’s row.
- fixedA product whose parts are set on the product itself showed its variants as not printable, without Print now.
- fixedUpdate in the shop failed for some clickers with a duplicate-entry error (an older listing row of the same SKU).
- fixedA combined plate of an STL and a 3MF could not be sliced (the slicer wants the 3MF first).
2026.10.26-126 Oct 2026
Pick the shipping method per order, a Shipping tab, quieter price sending
- changedOrders: pick the Sendcloud shipping method next to the label button, from the methods that ship to the order’s country with their price. Automatic (the shipping profile’s) stays the default.
- changedSettings › Shipping: Sendcloud, labels and shipping profiles on a tab of their own (they were under Costs).
- fixedSaving prices again while a "Send prices" batch waits adds to that batch instead of queuing every product again.
- fixedAn order stayed "unmapped" after its last item got a product through New product under Mapping.
- fixedSetting the filament of a printer slot numbered past 16 (an AMS HT) gave a 404.
2026.10.26-026 Oct 2026
Prices to your shop by themselves, items you do not print, quicker phone pushes, multi-plate prints fixed
- changedPrices you save (Pricing, bulk changes, a product's own prices, the default margin) go to the products already in your shop by themselves: only the prices, each change from → to in Jobs & log.
- changedOrders: mark a shop item "Not printed by us" (a sticker sold in the same shop) on the order or under Mapping. It no longer holds the order back, also on later orders, and the rest prints.
- fixedFill with suggested now aims at your default margin (it used the 50 % target from Settings › Costs), and margins above 80 % are no longer capped lower.
- fixedPhone notifications go out at once; they could wait behind slicing and photo jobs for many minutes.
- fixedPlate 2 of a two-plate project (a two-colour dog bowl) was sliced as plate 1 and asked for again every 2 minutes; each plate now slices on its own.
- fixedA project laid out for a 256 mm bed printed off to the front left on a bigger printer (A2L); it is now laid out on that printer's own bed.
- fixedA finished photo batch kept saying "running" at 111 of 111.
- changedProducts: Print now on every printable variant, with a count: every part of its recipe goes into the queue, also when the parts are set on the product itself.
- fixedBubble letter photos showed the letters from above; they are now photographed from the front, standing (make the photos again).
- fixedFamily statue photos: the main and sizes photos could be an empty backdrop on a slow server. A photo now waits until the statue is drawn, and one that never is fails with a note instead (make the photos again).
2026.10.25-625 Oct 2026
Any Google font in the shop, a symbol key, pricing per cm and a default margin, better product photos
- changedShop plugins 2.2.5: every font field has "More fonts…", which searches every Google font. The order carries the font's name, PrintSol makes the piece in it, and the 3D preview shows it.
- changedName clicker: an optional symbol key at the end of the name (a heart, a star, a paw…), priced as one more key.
- changedPricing: a default margin for every price you did not set yourself (Product manager › Pricing). Dog bowls are priced as a base per design plus a price per cm of height, to match the height slider; an earlier S price becomes the base.
- changedProduct photos: every product gets a "why you'll love it" picture, the piece large with four short lines and icons, in the shop's language.
- fixedA bubble letters product PrintSol listed charged one letter plus every letter again; the word is now its letters × the price per letter, less the bulk discount.
- fixedClickers and letters in the shop offer only the colours you have filament of, like the other builders.
- fixedBubble letters in the shop: the 3D preview shows them standing and smooth as in PrintSol's designer, the labels are in Dutch, and the builder takes the full width in any theme.
2026.10.25-525 Oct 2026
Two-plate prints slice on every printer, dog bowls fit the bed, styled photos, only colours in stock
- changedStyled photo on a product page: the real pieces in three colours as a lineup in a pastel scene Gemini paints for them, made one photo, with a headline set sharp by PrintSol (about $0.08, the shop's Gemini key).
- fixedShop plugins 2.2.4: a builder offers only the colours you have filament of, and colours out of stock are hidden by default instead of greyed out (PrintSol › Look can still grey them out).
- fixedShop plugins 2.2.4: the keychain creator lets the buyer pick a keychain on a plate, 3D letters joined or letter tiles; it showed the full letter maker.
- betterDog bowls: handles are the side grips or none (side grips to start); older orders with finger slots still read.
- betterShop plugins share their Dutch words with a theme that draws the builders itself (window.PrintSolNL).
- fixedPlate 1 of a print on two plates is sliced on its own. It was sliced together with plate 2, so on a printer with a bigger bed than the project was laid out for (an A2L) the second plate's part lay over the edge and slicing failed ("over the boundary of the heated bed").
- fixedA print on a plate no longer shows an orange border or "no slice for this printer" while its plate is printing: it prints with the plate's own slice.
- fixedA tapered dog bowl for a steel bowl of 19.5 cm or more was wider than a 256 mm bed, so slicing failed ("over the boundary of the heated bed"). The foot now stops at 238 mm and a big bowl gets a steeper wall.
- betterShop plugins 2.2.4: the dog bowl lip is no longer the buyer's choice. The shop sets it once (6 mm to start): in WordPress under PrintSol › Dog bowls, in Shopify on the dog bowl block. PrintSol's own default lip is 6 mm too.
2026.10.25-425 Oct 2026
Dog bowl height slider, a site key for shop pages, in-use photos that blend in
- betterIn-use photos in three steps: Gemini paints the room from the angle the renders have, the real render is placed in it at the size of a small object, and Gemini blends it into one photo. The piece itself then goes back on top in that light, so its letters and symbols stay exactly as rendered. A photo now takes two Gemini pictures (about $0.08).
- betterShop plugin: "Check again" under Dashboard › Updates asks PrintSol right away for a new version (it kept the last answer for 12 hours).
- betterShop plugins 2.2.3: the dog bowl height is a slider from 5 to 25 cm; the bowl's depth follows, and each cm above 5 cm adds the price set in the plugin settings (50 cents to start). In WooCommerce and Shopify.
- changedThe shop licence key is split in two. A site key is the only key in a shop's pages: it shows the 3D preview, the colours and the stock, and once PrintSol knows the shop's domain it works only there. The secret key stays on the shop's server for the licence check and plugin updates, in a file a web server never shows. Older plugins keep working until they update.
2026.10.25-325 Oct 2026
Full beds in the loaded filament, family photos, clicker listings, plugin fixes
- fixedA task of many pieces that fit one bed is sliced as a full bed in the filament the printer has loaded, instead of starting a single piece from an older slice (30 cable clips were printed as 1 and 29).
- fixedFamily statue photos show the family: the photo waits until the figures are drawn (they came out as an empty backdrop).
- betterFamily statue photos in beige, the father a little darker.
- fixedClicker listings: each says its own sort (name, symbols, key pad, logo, shape, low base) in its title and texts, and a product of one base no longer shows the other base.
- fixedIn-use photos keep the product exactly: Gemini paints only the setting, and the real 3D render is placed in it with a soft shadow. On a product page it is made right away, and the photo or the reason Google gives shows on the page.
- fixedShop plugins 2.2.2: a key pad clicker lets the buyer pick the number of keys and no longer shows letter options; dog bowl heights S, M, L and XL change the price (set in the plugin settings) and read "cm hoog" in Dutch.
2026.10.25-225 Oct 2026
In-use photo button works while the Product manager is open
- fixedIn-use photo (and other buttons with a limit per minute) no longer give a "429" page: each button counts on its own, and one pressed too often says so on the page.
2026.10.25-125 Oct 2026
Letter maker listings, more creators, parts on every product
- changedAuto listing: a Letter maker creator and a Keychain creator, with every style open in the shop builder.
- fixedA product priced per letter shows its cost and margin on a name of 5 letters with the start price, as the shop sells it, instead of a loss on one letter; its suggested price is per letter again.
- betterLetter maker titles say what each is for: loose name letters, a standing name in one piece, bubble letters.
- betterBought parts per option work for every add-on, also one without options: a key ring on every clicker under Product manager, Settings.
2026.10.25-025 Oct 2026
One design per product photo, a creator per add-on, clearer titles
- fixedAuto listing: a product of one design shows only that design in its photos (in other colours), with no "Choose your design" picker; a trophy of one sport no longer shows the other sports.
- changedAuto listing: a creator per add-on (dog bowl, trophy, planter, clicker and piggy bank) where the buyer picks everything in the shop builder; its photos show every design. PrintSol plugin 2.2.1.
- betterAuto listing: a title always says which shape, design or sport the product is (a planter read "Bloempot met textuur" for every shape); bubble letters are photographed in soft colours, one per letter; and "Make every photo again" remakes the photos of every product.
- fixedHardware & extras: a reorder link saves however you paste it (long shop links, spaces around it, without https://), and the form says what it could not save.
2026.10.24-424 Oct 2026
Ready to print per product, and coloured notifications
- changedReady to print on every product: switched off, its orders wait and nothing is queued, so you can set its parts and colours first; switched on, its waiting orders get their prints at once. A new product starts switched off.
- betterIt printed / It failed show only on a print that needs you: no word from the printer for 3 minutes, paused, not printing, or no progress for half an hour.
- changedA phone notification when a print starts: which printer and what is on its bed. It has its own switch under Settings, Notifications.
- betterPhone notifications show their kind in colour at the start of the title: green done, blue started, amber filament, red a printer that needs you.
- fixedA plate with several prints on one bed shows how far it is and the time left while it prints, as a single print does.
2026.10.24-324 Oct 2026
Bridge 1.0.5 and a steadier Print Queue
- fixedBridge 1.0.5: a camera that gives no picture one way is asked the other way too, as bridge 0.9.3 did, and it says why it gave none.
- betterA camera that keeps failing is asked less and less often instead of every 30 seconds, by PrintSol and by the bridge.
- fixedBridge 1.0.5: a printer that has said nothing for a minute is asked for its full status, and gets a fresh connection after 3 minutes, so a finished print no longer stays "printing".
- fixedBridge 1.0.5: the bridge connects to a printer under the same name every time, as bridge 0.9.3 did. A new name per reconnect left old sessions on the printer until it stopped sending its status.
- betterPrint Queue: a print paused on the printer counts in the red pill, and every printing card has It printed / It failed (with a confirm while the printer still says it is printing).
- fixedA print whose end PrintSol missed is no longer printed again: the plate waits for you to check it.
- betterOpening the cameras asks every camera for a fresh frame, and a tile says when no new frame came. The Printers header counts add up.
- fixedLate-order emails give whole days.
2026.10.24-224 Oct 2026
Printer reports keep flowing when one cannot be stored
- fixedA printer that paused with a long reason (such as a spaghetti detection) no longer stops the reports of every other printer: printers showed offline while they were printing.
- betterThe changelog lists every release again.
2026.10.24-124 Oct 2026
Bridge 1.0.4: steady printer connections and faster camera frames
- fixedBridge 1.0.4: uploading a print to a P1 printer no longer stops with "The read operation timed out".
- fixedBridge 1.0.4: an idle printer stays connected. 1.0.3 took a quiet printer for a lost one and kept reconnecting.
- betterCamera frames come in within seconds of asking (they waited up to 30 s), a P1 camera that first sends a non-picture frame still gives a picture, and the camera view shows when its frame was taken.
2026.10.24-024 Oct 2026
Shop cancellations, pack pieces on the work label, and a red pill for print problems
- changedOrders cancelled in your shop after they reached PrintSol are picked up: open WooCommerce orders are checked again every 5 minutes, and scanning the label of a cancelled order shows CANCELLED with no ship buttons or label.
- betterA pack (for example 20 pieces) shows its pieces on the order and on the work label.
- changedPrint Queue in the menu has a red pill for prints with a problem, beside the green one for finished prints.
- betterA start the printer refused is tried again after 5 minutes (was 15).
- changedKeychain maker: letter tiles, a colour per letter, letters at different heights and a bend, in PrintSol and in the shop plugin.
2026.10.23-623 Oct 2026
Menu tidy-up and in-use photos
- betterName signs live in the Letter maker as a tab; the Add-ons group stays in the menu on the Product manager.
- changedAn In-use photo button on a product makes a picture of it where it is used (with your Gemini key).
2026.10.23-523 Oct 2026
The Keychain maker gets its own page
- changedThe Keychain maker is its own page in the menu: a plate that follows the letters in two colours, or joined 3D letters, with a key ring.
- betterThe Letter maker is for single letters and standing names in one piece; it shows where to set the Gemini and Claude keys.
2026.10.23-423 Oct 2026
Print per colour, letters by use, clickers per key and the family statue
- changedPrint per colour: a name in several colours fills one bed and is sliced by object, on a Bambu printer with an AMS.
- betterLetters: single wall letters, a standing name in one piece and bubble letters; the thickness follows the height and the use, and photos show them where they are used.
- betterClickers are priced as a start price plus a price per key, one product per clicker.
- changedThe family statue is in the shop builder: four looks in three sizes, priced as a start plus a price per family member.
- fixedA Gemini key with dots or pasted spaces is accepted; Queue for printing works again for a line whose prints were all cancelled.
2026.10.23-323 Oct 2026
Amounts print that many pieces
- fixedAn amount in the variant or the order ("Aantal: 20", "Amount: 10") prints that many pieces, not one.
- betterA pre-sliced file only goes to a printer it was sliced for; when none fits, the task says why in orange.
2026.10.23-223 Oct 2026
One PrintSol plugin for WooCommerce, letters per letter, bulk discounts
- changedOne PrintSol plugin for WooCommerce instead of one per maker: connect it to your account once by logging in, and the makers of your active add-ons switch on by themselves (a new add-on appears without a new plugin). It updates itself from PrintSol, checked before it installs. Installing it takes over the old plugins with their settings and switches them off.
- changedName letters are priced per letter, per height, with a start price; and every add-on can have a bulk discount in up to three steps (for letters by the letters in one name, otherwise by how many are in the basket).
2026.10.23-123 Oct 2026
A new Product manager, prices per add-on, realistic photos, the Shopify app and one look for every maker
- changedThe Product manager is one page per shop with tabs: Overview, Products, Pricing, Texts & SEO, Photos, Jobs & log and Settings. Writing texts, sending and making photos run in the background with a log per product, Stop and Retry.
- changedPricing per add-on in one place: name letters per height, SVG to 3D per size, clickers per number of keys, piggy banks per size, planters per shape and size, dog bowls per design and height (S, M, L, XL; the depth follows), bubble letters per height. Your shop plugins use these prices too.
- betterProduct photos look real: studio light, soft shadows, matte PLA with fine layer lines, real steel, a warm backdrop and a colour pair per design. They are made four to six times faster, and a product that takes too long no longer stops the batch.
- changedShopify: PrintSol is now an app with a block per maker for your theme, instead of pasted code (the pasted code keeps working).
- betterYour WooCommerce shop: a product of one design shows only its own options and no longer charges size, tray, steel bowl or keys twice; the options look like cards with colour chips and textures; colours come from Bambu Lab’s range, your own filaments or your own list, and follow your stock.
- betterEvery maker has the same choices, sliders, fonts and colour pickers. The Letter maker starts with standing letters (a file per letter), makes one piece without a bar, puts a key ring on a plate, and takes a colour on every style; a plate can have its own colour.
- fixed"Claude gave no texts back" is fixed (its answer was cut off), Fix with AI researches the keywords itself, titles start with what the product is, the Auto listing page no longer hangs, connecting a WooCommerce shop works again, and SVG to 3D’s plate base works again.
2026.10.23-023 Oct 2026
Bridge 1.0.2: a complete installer, slicing on your PC, and many fixes
- changedThe bridge installer looks and asks as the old one did, and brings everything your printers need: ffmpeg for X1 cameras, Microsoft WebView2 for the bridge window when Windows lacks it, and (ticked on its last page) the newest Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer, Bambu Connect and SumatraPDF from their makers when they are not on the PC yet.
- changedThe bridge slices on your PC with OrcaSlicer or Bambu Studio when PrintSol asks, hands prints for cloud-bound Bambu printers on new firmware to Bambu Connect, prints pack labels through SumatraPDF (with a test label), and shows the programs it uses in its Doctor page.
- betterThe bridge starts again by itself when it stops (in the app, and a check every 5 minutes), gives PrintSol the access code of a printer set up on that PC when PrintSol has none, and bridges on 1.0.1 update themselves to 1.0.2.
- betterFarms with Klipper, PrusaLink, OctoPrint or Elegoo printers get the same bridge as Bambu farms now: 1.0.2 is offered to every bridge. 0.9.3 stays downloadable to go back.
- fixedBridge fixes: a printer no longer shows "connected" with frozen readings after a large report on a slow network; a printer that breaks every connection is no longer retried every second; a long printer name no longer makes PrintSol refuse the bridge's reports; file names with : * ? no longer fail; an update can no longer leave a PC without a running bridge or without its uninstaller.
2026.10.22-122 Oct 2026
Bridge 1.0.1: printers and codes by themselves, updates by itself; bubble letters; listing photo sets for more makers
- changedBridge 1.0.1: a new bridge gets every printer of your farm with its access code from PrintSol, with nothing to click. Codes PrintSol does not have yet come from your linked Bambu account (by serial); a printer still without one shows "needs access code" with one field on Printers → Connect and in the bridge window, and the code you type is kept for every bridge after it.
- changedBridge 1.0.1 updates itself: PrintSol offers the newer version, the bridge checks that it is signed by PrintSol before running anything, waits while a print is being started (a print already running carries on), and goes back to the version it had if the new one does not come back online. "Update now" on Printers → Connect, and every step in the Activity log. Farms with Klipper, PrusaLink, OctoPrint or Elegoo printers stay on 0.9.3.
- betterInstalling bridge 1.0.1 stops any bridge already running on that PC (0.9.3 too, wherever it runs from), and a newer bridge on the same PC takes the printers over by itself, with the commands waiting for them; nothing that is printing is stopped, and the old bridge entry of that PC goes once it drives nothing. Bridge 1.0.0 and 0.9.3 stay downloadable to go back.
- betterThe bridge checks a file is sliced for that kind of printer before it sends it, reports "filament detected" again, hears printers on more networks, and keeps a log file that does not grow for ever.
- changedBubble letters in the Letter maker: puffy, blown-up letters on a flat back, a colour and a texture per letter, each letter its own object in the file, with a price table per farm.
- changedAuto listing: the photo set (shots, sizes and turntable) for dog bowls, planters, vases, trophies and name signs too.
2026.10.22-022 Oct 2026
Settings → Organisation opens again; photo batches keep going and show how far they are
- fixedSettings → Organisation gave an error page. It opens again; the MakerWorld sign-in there says when it cannot run on this server.
- fixed"Make photos" in the Product manager stopped after one product without saying so. It now makes them one after another to the end, and pressing it again tries the ones that failed once more.
- betterThe Product manager shows how far the photos are (made, waiting, failed with the reason, being made now, refreshing by itself) and how many texts Claude wrote.
2026.10.21-321 Oct 2026
Steel bowl stock from your webshop, Product manager on a phone, shop colours from your filament stock
- betterSteel bowls: your webshop keeps the stock. Per bowl size (Auto listing → Bought parts) choose Webshop stock (now the default), a hardware item, or not kept. With Webshop stock your shop keeps the count on each size and lowers it with every order; PrintSol reads it every 15 minutes (or with "Read stock from the shop now"), shows it per size and never changes it. A size whose stock the shop does not manage says so, with where to turn it on.
- changedShop colours that follow your filament stock (optional, off until you turn it on): with "Colours follow filament stock" on (WooCommerce → PrintSol → Look; Shopify: stockFollow in the snippet's settings line), a colour in a maker's builder shows as "Niet op voorraad" and cannot be picked when that colour of PLA has less than one print needs, or is hidden if you choose. A spool whose weight is not known counts as in stock; without an answer from PrintSol every colour stays. Add-ons shows per colour which filament it maps to and the grams. Download the plugins and snippets again to get the switch.
- fixedThe Product manager on a phone: every shop under Settings → Channels now has its Products button, also before the first products are made, and Product manager in the menu opens your shop instead of sending you back to Channels.
2026.10.21-221 Oct 2026
Auto listing, bridge 1.0, shop plugins in your shop's look, Auto SEO
- changedBridge 1.0, with the window you know from 0.9.3 (window and tray icon), now also drives Klipper/Moonraker, PrusaLink, OctoPrint and Elegoo printers, and finds a printer again by itself after a power cut or a new IP address. Updating: run the new installer on the bridge PC (it updates 0.9.3 in place), open it and pair once more with a new code from Printers → Connect; your printers come back by themselves. Farms with Klipper, PrusaLink, OctoPrint or Elegoo printers keep 0.9.3 for now; it stays downloadable (also to go back).
- changedThe shop plugins take your shop's own look: fonts, colours, buttons and fields are read from your theme, in your shop's language (Dutch or English) and with your shop's price format. Options show as cards with the choice on the right, sliders for heights and sizes, step by step on a phone with the total in a bar, and the 3D preview can take the place of the product photos (with front, side, top, turning and the size), or go anywhere with the [printsol_3d] shortcode. WooCommerce → PrintSol → Look to change it. Download the plugins and snippets again to get it.
- changedAuto SEO in the Product manager: PrintSol picks a primary keyword, secondary ones and tags for every product from the words people use, writes the texts around them with your Claude key, gives a new product an address from its keyword, and scores every product (10 checks) with "Fix with AI" per line.
- changedProduct manager: every product with its photos, variants, prices and stock, the cost split per variant (filament, printer time, work, parts, packaging) with the margin and a suggested price, and the design names of planters and vases.
- changedA spool put in an AMS tray is asked about on every page: a new spool, a used one (how much is left) or one from the shelf.
- changedAuto listing (free with each maker add-on): under Settings → Channels → your WooCommerce or Shopify shop → Auto listing, PrintSol makes the shop products for the makers you have: one product per design, with its sizes as variants, a price from what it costs you to make × your markup (plus the shop's fees, rounded to ,49 or ,95), the shop category, and a title and description in Dutch or English.
- changedEverything is a draft in PrintSol first, to check and edit. "Send as draft to shop" puts it in the shop as a draft; "Make live" puts it on sale; "Take off sale" hides it again. Nothing is ever deleted in your shop, and a product you changed in the shop is never overwritten unless you say so. Each product's SKUs are linked in PrintSol at once, so its orders come in straight away.
- changedProduct photos made by the same 3D preview your customers see, for free: the main image, a second angle, a close-up, a sheet in the colours you have filament of, two examples, a size image and a 6-second turntable video. With your shop's own Gemini key you can add an "in use" photo (about $0.04 each, with a cap you set): Gemini paints the setting, the piece stays the real render.
- changedStock of bought parts: pick the steel bowl item for each dog bowl size, and the shop shows "Nog 3" or "Uitverkocht" per size (an open order holds one). The colours offered are the filaments you have on hand.
- changedOther shop languages: with your shop's Gemini key the texts are translated from the English (German, French, Spanish, Italian); Shopify gets them as its own translations. Without a key the texts stay in English and the screen says so.
- changedShopify: a guided step to add the PrintSol maker template, and dog bowls get a height band (standard, raised, tall) as their second option.
- changedTrophies for a whole team: one row per trophy, each with its own title, in one cart line. PrintSol prints one trophy per row.
- betterAn update to a product in the shop first shows what changes; it is sent only when you confirm. If the shop key may only read, the screen asks you to reconnect.
- betterThe 3D preview in PrintSol's makers and in the shop plugins and snippets has a cleaner look: no grid and no size box (the ruler button shows the size), with a soft shadow under the piece. A product made by auto listing opens on its own design. A phone without 3D shows the product photos instead.
- betterThe shop plugins now check that your farm still has the add-on. Without it the builder is hidden and the product cannot be bought; nothing in your shop is deleted. Download the WooCommerce plugins and Shopify snippets again (Clickers 1.8.0, Letter maker 1.3.0, Piggy bank 2.3.0, Planters 1.3.0, SVG to 3D 1.2.0, Dog bowls 1.1.0, Name signs 1.1.0, Trophies 1.1.0): older downloads lose the 3D preview.

Fixes: cancelled prints, parts in several colours, a start without an answer, printers that go quiet
- fixedA print of a cancelled order is never handed out, plated or started, also when it came back to the queue later (a requeue, a failed print). One already printing is left to finish and flagged. The queue no longer shows cancelled prints under Queued; "Cancelled" lists those of the last two weeks.
- fixedWhen the printer starts a print but the bridge never confirms the start, the print stays as printing instead of going back to the queue as ready, and it counts as printed when it ends. A print you start yourself from Bambu Studio meanwhile is left alone.
- fixedParts in several colours: an order that names fewer colours than the part has fills the first ones; the rest come from the colours saved on the part, else the file. No more "pick" for colours the part already has.
- betterThe product page's Parts panel shows a part in several colours with one line per colour, saved on the part. Print settings now sits right above "Listed in", and its badges fit on a phone.
- betterA printer that stops reporting while its bridge is online shows "Not reporting" after 3 minutes, PrintSol asks the bridge to reconnect it every 2 minutes, and after 10 minutes the people who get bridge e-mails hear about it. Activity says how long it was gone. A bridge counts as offline after 3 minutes instead of 1½, and one missed beat no longer takes a printer offline.

Fixes: more of a print under way, free printers first, the work label, dog bowl handles
- fixedRaising the count of a print that is already being sent, printing or on a sliced plate makes the extra pieces a new print in the queue; the one under way keeps its file. Before, the printer got the old file and the print counted the new number.
- fixedMarking a print as printed by hand counts what its file held; anything more goes back in the queue, as when the printer reports the end itself.
- betterA free printer with the right colour now beats waiting for a busy one with the very spool that was picked. The Printer tab of a print shows every printer and why it was or was not taken.
- fixedThe work label lists every item of the order, each part with its count, printer and a box to tick. Many items get smaller rows, and a second label only when they do not fit ("label 2 of 2").
- fixedDog bowl side handles: the opening is cut in one go, without the small ledges along its top and bottom and the slivers at its ends.
- betterAn order's "Making it cost" note lists the product page's figure and the order's, each split into filament, machine, energy, labour and failed prints, and then what differs.
2026.10.20-120 Oct 2026
Family figures, dog bowls, name signs and trophies; vases that flow; product photos from your own photo
- changedDog bowl builder (new add-on): a printed stand for a steel bowl of 13 to 22 cm in ten designs, with one universal seat for any lip of 5 to 20 mm. The stand is open at the bottom: walls only, the steel bowl hanging by its lip. The dog's name is raised, sunk, inlaid or on a name plate, in its own colour and the size you pick; stacked rings let you choose how many rings and how deep, with the name on a ring. Two-colour designs come as two pieces that lock together with a tongue and groove. Handles to choose: finger slots in the rim, a straight handle through the wall on each side, or both. A straight wall fits a 22 cm bowl on a 256 mm printer.
- changedDog bowls: any height from 5 to 35 cm on a slider, the handles a rounded slot high under the rim, and on stacked rings the name on a raised plate on a ring. Each piece can be smooth, as designed or one of ten textures, with a smooth or fuzzy skin (the fuzzy skin is set in the file, for that piece only), so a two-colour stand can be smooth at the bottom and fuzzy on top.
- changedName signs (a tab in the Letter maker) and the Trophy builder (new add-on): a big letter with the name across it in a second colour, and club trophies in four designs with five balls.
- changedEach new builder comes with its WooCommerce plugin and Shopify snippet, reads shop orders in English and Dutch, and shows the customer's piece in the order's 3D preview.
- betterVases: the texture now runs along the surface, so ribs keep their spacing over a shoulder and flow on into the neck and up to the rim. Edges are crease-aligned, so a scale's edge is a clean line in the file, not a row of 0.8 mm teeth, and the file is finer. The shoulder bottle curves into its neck.
- changedTen more vase shapes, ten more textures, and Fine waves: many thin, deep ribs swaying up the vase. Also a name in real letters on a plate, and your logo under the base.
- changedProduct photos in the WooCommerce plugins, from your own photo of the product. Studio and Warm are made on your shop's own server, free: the product is cut out and set on a clean backdrop with a soft shadow, its own pixels unchanged. Lifestyle and your own words use Google Gemini with your own key: Gemini paints the setting and your real product is laid back on top. A short video can be made too. The old OpenAI photo button is gone (its model is being retired), so add a Google Gemini API key under PrintSol → Product photos.
- betterCost estimates before a model is sliced count its walls and infill as a slicer prints them, so a big solid piece is no longer estimated as if printed solid.
- betterA colour your customer asks for is matched only within the same colour family (green stays green). When none of that family is in stock, the order says so ("no green PLA in stock, load it by hand") instead of picking another colour.
- betterClickers: the low base and both key heights on every maker, shapes too.
- fixedOutreach: the OpenStreetMap search tries again when the map server is busy, then a second server, with one clear message if all fail.
- fixedA part added to a product reaches its open orders: by itself while none of a line's prints has started, else with "Add to these orders" on the product page. Orders from your shops get every part of the product, each in the order's colour.
- fixedA print stopped on the printer waits in the queue (Requeue or Delete) instead of starting again. A colour you pick by hand replaces the customer's wish on the card, a print being sent or on a plate keeps its colour, and a one-colour print no longer takes the first spool when its colour is not loaded.
- fixedPink filament (Bambu PLA Basic Pink and other pinks) was read as orange, so a pink print could start on an orange or bronze spool. Every Bambu colour is now checked to land in the colour family its name says.
- changedBambu PLA Pure (Pure White, Absolute Black, Milky Pink, Baby Blue, Apricot) in the filament lists, for slicing and AMS matching.
- betterA printer that refuses starts from PrintSol (Bambu's "verification failed") is left out of auto-print, and its print waits with the steps to turn on LAN Only and Developer Mode. Once that is done, "Developer Mode is on now" on the printer card lets PrintSol try again.
- betterThe Finished column shows one card per plate that came off a printer, with its prints and orders, and one Done for the whole bed. The "print done" notice says what was on the plate.
- betterWhen the slicer arranges a plate, the strip at the front of the bed where a Bambu printer draws its purge line is kept free, on every Bambu model (not with Clear Plate, which leaves the purge line out).
- changedA part's own filament on a product: pick a material and a colour per part in the product's Parts list, and a colour for the whole product. Each part either follows the order's colour or is always its own colour (an insert or a battery holder), and new prints take it.
- changedShop listings → From orders: the listings your held and unmapped orders wait on, with their order numbers, most waiting first. Map a listing to a product and each order gets the variant its options name (colour and size, in Dutch, English, German or French). An order that fits no variant gets the default and a note on the order line, so you can check it. Mapping releases the waiting orders.
- fixedThe margin in the Orders list now matches the order page: it is worked out again when a label is bought or prints finish.
- betterShops have a "Shipping prices include VAT" setting (on by default). When an order reports VAT on the goods only, PrintSol takes the VAT out of the shipping at the goods' rate, and the order says so ("VAT 21% (shipping VAT added, shop reported none)").
- betterDownload the WooCommerce plugins again (Clickers 1.7.0, Letter maker 1.2.0, Piggy bank 2.2.0, Planters 1.2.0, SVG to 3D 1.1.0, all with the new product photos; new: Dog bowls 1.0.3, Name signs 1.0.0, Trophies 1.0.0) and the Shopify snippets for Planters (Fine waves) and the new builders.
2026.10.20-hotfix20 Oct 2026
Work labels print again
- fixedPrinting the work label of an order with parts gave an error. It prints again.
2026.10.19-219 Oct 2026
Logo clickers in colour, search everywhere, shop plugins in any theme
- fixedClicker caps no longer stick when pressed: the round post round the cross is 5.3 mm (it was 6.0) with a small lead-in at its tip, so it slides into the switch. Reprint caps made before this release.
- changedA clicker in the shape of your own logo keeps all its colours. When the logo is one piece, the key follows its outline; when it is not (a circle beside a word), the key becomes a smooth badge round it. The logo's colours print as they are unless you pick others, and each colour says "Logo's own".
- betterIn the clicker preview, a chain goes through the keychain hole, round the tab and lies beside the clicker, as it would on a table.
- changedTwelve new vase shapes: tulip, bud vase, pillow, ribbed column, wavy rim, twisted spiral, ginger jar, carafe, lantern, bubble stack, faceted gem and organic pebble. They are in the Shopify snippet too.
- betterSearch finds every word in any order, in Dutch or English colours and sizes ("xl zwart" finds "XL Black"), with or without accents, and SKUs and EANs with or without spaces, best matches first. It works in the product picker, the products, orders and queue lists, the Letter maker and the search bar. Shop listings keep their barcode.
- betterPickers open their list over the page, about ten rows tall and never cut off, and work with the arrow keys and Enter.
- betterThe shop plugins show their builder in any theme. When a product has no price (WooCommerce then hides it), only you see a note on the product page, the product and the product list. The Shopify snippets keep the choices with the order wherever the theme puts its form.
- betterThe shop builders look better: choices as buttons, colours as swatches, and a preview that shows a sample name until the customer types one, with white pieces in readable grey. The piggy bank starts on the bubble outline, which works for any name. Download the WooCommerce plugins (Clickers 1.6.1, Letter maker 1.1.1, Piggy bank 2.1.1, Planters 1.1.1, SVG to 3D 1.0.1) and the Shopify snippets again.
2026.10.19-119 Oct 2026
Prints in several colours, everywhere
- betterA file in several colours shows a row per colour in the File Manager, named after its parts (Base, Keys, Letters). Pick any colour or a filament per row, and every new print of it starts with them. The same rows are on the product page.
- betterPut in the queue from the File Manager asks a colour per slot, starting from the colours you set.
- betterThe queue card says how many colours a print has, with a chip per colour (white has an outline, an unset one says pick). The print popup lists every colour by name and lets you change them in place. Customer wants only shows on a customer order.
- betterThe order drawer, the pack slip, the dashboard and the printer page show every colour of a print, and part pictures are striped in its colours.
- betterNew prints take their colours from the order, else the product variant, else the colours set on the file or product, else the file itself.
- fixedSlicing always loads a filament per colour, and the print starts with each colour from its own AMS tray, also for a colour asked for without a filament picked. Prints share a plate only when every colour matches, and only on a printer that has all of them loaded.
- betterFiles in up to 8 colours (two AMS units); product variants can have up to 8 colours too.
- fixedThe weight of a vase in vase mode is its one wall, not a quarter of the solid vase.
2026.10.18-218 Oct 2026
Print settings per product, new clickers, symbols and Key pads
- changedPrint settings for a whole product: one card on the product page sets quality, layer height, strength, supports and finish for every part; a part can still have its own. Badges show where each setting comes from.
- changedStrength settings: walls, top and bottom layers, infill and its pattern, and your own layer height, on a product, a part or one print, sent to the slicer.
- betterThe queue's print popup has tabs (Overview, Order, Printer, History), shows what it prints with, and says which prints share its plate and why the others do not. Prints for a 0.6 mm nozzle printer share a plate only with each other.
- changedClickers are now one piece: the switches sit hidden in the base and you press them in from the top. Choose high keys (they stand well out of the base) or low keys (each in its own cup, flush with the rim when pressed).
- changedRound and hexagon keys: pick the key shape on any clicker. The keys still cover the whole switch, and the base, the cups and the spacing follow the shape.
- changedChains for clickers: a ball chain, a keyring with a clasp or a lanyard cord, chosen in the builder, and in the shop plugins as one of the Keychain choices. It goes on the work label and into the true cost, and a clicker with a chain always gets a hole for it.
- changedClicker base settings: a border slider from 1.6 mm (the thinnest that prints) up to 6 mm, rounding on the top edge, and a low base for switches with their pins snipped off.
- changedSymbol clickers: 1 to 12 keys with a symbol on each, from a library of about 370 (search or pick a category). A slider sets how big the symbols are; every line stays thick enough to print.
- changedKey pad: 2 to 12 plain keys in a neat grid. Any clicker can have a different colour on every key (and on every symbol), using up to 4 filaments with one AMS or 8 with two, each matched to the closest colour you have.
- betterThe animal, pet, sweet treat, bento and hearts sets and the pastel pads are replaced by symbols and Key pads. Orders for the old sets still work.
- changedA live 3D preview on the product page of your shop: every PrintSol plugin (WooCommerce and Shopify; clickers, planters and vases, piggy banks, letters and SVG to 3D) shows the piece in 3D as it will be made, from what the customer picks. Download the plugins again to get it.
- betterThe shop plugins have the new clickers too: WooCommerce plugin 1.6.0 (with a symbol picker) and the Shopify snippet. Download them again from the Clicker builder add-on.
- betterWall pots hang closer to the wall, with a slim support under the hanger instead of a solid block. They use less filament and still fit the same wall plate. Wall pots you made before keep their file.
- betterThe 3D preview in the builders is taller on a computer screen, and tall pieces such as vases fill it.
- fixedVase mode: the preview and the pictures in the queue and File Manager show the open top, as the print comes out. Vase mode prints on any printer; a 0.6 or 0.8 mm nozzle is only preferred when one is free.
- fixedA part's print settings card in File Manager shows and saves ironing, smart layers, fuzzy skin and vase mode.
2026.10.18-118 Oct 2026
Planters round 3, colours per AMS slot, vase mode
- changedPlanter generator: a geometric family. Hexagon, square and rounded square pots, with low-poly (shuffle for a new pattern), hexagon prism, cube relief and diamond facet textures, on standing pots, wall pots and pockets. Every nursery pot from S to XL still fits.
- changedWall troughs for 2, 3 or 4 nursery pots side by side (straight, tapered or with round ends), any texture, with a drip tray that snaps on underneath. Longer than your bed, a trough is made in pieces that each hold water and hang on their own, with a clip over each joint.
- changedMore planter shapes (a U-arch wall planter with an arched back board, tall slim) and new textures: teardrop scales, deep ribs, pleats, honeycomb, cable knit, basket weave, hammered, spiral ribs, bubbles, horizontal waves, and twisted petals on pots too. A depth slider for every texture, a count for the ones with ribs, scales or cells, and a smooth lip band or the texture running on to the rim.
- betterA new wall hanger: a rounded teardrop plate with countersunk slotted holes; the pot drops over it and centres itself. Or a hook for acoustic wood-slat panels. Both print without supports.
- changedVase mode: vases and plain pots can print as a spiral vase (one wall, no seam, much quicker). The queue gives them a printer with a 0.6 or 0.8 mm nozzle when one is free. Slicing for Bambu printers with a 0.6 or 0.8 mm nozzle works now.
- changedColours per AMS slot: a print in several colours (read from the 3MF, the shop order or set in the queue) is mapped to the filaments in stock, held when a colour is missing, and every maker picks colours on the same swatch picker.
- betterPreviews are never left broken and no longer wait for slicing. When the server disk runs low, PrintSol warns, holds slicing with a reason on the print, and cleans up old slices and temporary files.
- betterThe queue puts a print on a free printer with the colour rather than a busy one, guesses the filament in a tray better, trusts only real RFID readings and keeps the external spool.
2026.10.17-818 Oct 2026
Clicker builder
- changedClicker builder add-on: fidget clickers with real MX switches. A name with one bubble key per letter (up to 12, as a row, an arc or two rows), themed sets (animals, pet paws, sweet treats, a bento set, hearts and stars), pastel 4- and 9-key pads, or your own logo (SVG, or a PNG traced to an outline) on 1 to 4 keys. Keychain loop, ring hole or lanyard slot. Every part prints without supports. 14.95 euro a month, with 100 AI credits.
- changedClicker colours fill themselves: every part snaps to the closest filament you have in stock, at most four in the AMS, and the order says when a colour is not in stock.
- changedSwitches and keyrings as hardware: a clicker from a shop order takes one switch per key and a keyring, on the work label, off the stock when packed, and in the true cost. The work label of an order print lists the line's non-printed parts.
- changedClicker builder in your shop: the WooCommerce plugin (with a live preview and a price per key) and the Shopify snippet. Brand and character names and logos are not printed.
- changedClicker key shape: size, corner rounding, height, edge bevel, key spacing, a flat, dished or domed top, letter size, inlay depth, and letters raised up to 2 mm (those keys print face up on a flat bottom: a skirt hides the switch and the hollow over it is bridged, no supports). Each within safe limits, with a live preview and a reset.
- changedAny colour for a clicker: search about 70 named colours or pick your own; it is matched to the closest filament in stock only when made. Shop plugins get the same choice, and sellers decide whether customers may change colours, the key top and raised letters.
- changedClicker bases in eleven shapes: the straight bar, a bubble that hugs each key (now the default), a pill, a wave, blocks linked by bridges, a heart, a star, a cloud, and cat, paw and bear outlines, with sliders for the lobes, the border and a taller base. Side textures (flutes, fine flutes, ribs, waffle, rings, diamonds, scales, wave) with a depth slider, and the base in a light tint of the key colour if you like.
- changedShaped clickers: one big key that is the design (a cat, dog, bear, shark, dino, lion, bunny, horse, heart, star or cloud, or your logo’s outline), its face, belly or mane raised on top in two more colours, on a base that follows the outline, with an optional rim round the key. Size, rim and detail height sliders.
- betterThe clicker preview shows it as used, a switch in every hole and the letters up, or as it prints. Every clicker file has supports off on each part, so a printer profile with automatic supports leaves the bridged hollows alone.
- changedShop plugins: sellers choose which base shapes, textures and shaped clickers customers get, and which sliders (key shape, letters, base, texture depth, shape size).
2026.10.17-717 Oct 2026
Print finish for every product
- changedPrint finish on every product: default, ironing (smooth tops, with each printer's own ironing calibration) or fuzzy skin (textured outer walls, tops stay smooth). Set it on the product page; change it for one order line in the order, or for one print in the queue (Edit). The queue card and the work label say which finish a print gets, and prints with another finish never share a plate.
- betterCombined plates are sliced with their finish, and Edit in the queue keeps a print's own ironing, layers and fuzzy skin when you save it.
2026.10.17-617 Oct 2026
Planter generator
- changedPlanter generator add-on: standing pots, wall pots, hanging pockets and vases in your own designs. Pick a shape and a texture (fine flutes, waffle grid, pinecone, stone, knit and more, with new designs every month) and the nursery pot it is for (S to XL, 12 to 21 cm); the live preview checks that the pot fits and that every part prints without supports. Standing and wall pots can have a screw-on drip tray that carries the texture on; wall pots and pockets drop onto a small plate you screw to the wall; vases are watertight, 20 to 30 cm. Then to the queue, a project or a product with a variant per size and colour, and shop customers design their own in the WooCommerce plugin (with a live preview) and the Shopify snippet. 9.99 euro a month.
- changedHelp Centre: how the Planter generator works (sizes, the tray, hanging a wall pot) and how to print planters and vases that hold water.
- betterShop orders for the Piggy bank, Planter generator and SVG to 3D are only made from the customer's choices on that add-on's own products (the plugin's product without a recipe, or one made on the add-on's page). On any other product its own recipe prints, and the order's activity says why.
2026.10.17-517 Oct 2026
Letter finishes, big letters, safer Clear Plate
- changedLetter maker, finish: regular, mirror (printed face down, so the smooth bed side is the front; one piece and keychains), ironing (with the printer tune from the Print Optimizer) or fuzzy skin on the outer walls. Set it per product, and customers choose it in the WooCommerce plugin and Shopify snippet; staff can change it per order.
- changedLetter maker, big names: standing letters that need more than one bed become one print per bed, with bed 1 of 3 on the work label. Letters bigger than the bed are cut into pieces that fit, with locating pins and holes on the cut faces. Letters up to 600 mm tall.
- betterClear Plate pushes every part off: after slicing, the push lanes run through each part where the slicer put it, front parts first, then a sweep closer than the smallest part. Small parts between two lanes are no longer left behind.
- betterClear Plate on a printer without a camera: after a push it waits until somebody presses Plate cleared (with a phone notice), unless you set that printer to trust the push.
- betterPrinters: a printer you mark cleared (Plate cleared, all marked cleared, a print confirmed in the queue, the sticker) is ready for the queue at once, with any camera check or sticker countdown closed, and auto-print looks for its next print right away.
- betterProducts: sort on every column (variants, printable, price, cost, margin, sold, stock, shipping), both ways, across all pages and with the filters.
2026.10.17-417 Oct 2026
Add-ons on the website, one work label per product, clearer money
- changedWebsite: an Add-ons page with every add-on, what it does, its price and a screenshot, linked from the menu and the home page, with a Help Centre article for each add-on.
- fixedWork labels: a long product title gets smaller instead of running onto a second or third sticker, so one product is one label.
- betterStatistics, where the cost goes: energy counts as measured when the print time was measured, like machine time; figures that come from your own rates, the slice or a Sendcloud rate say so instead of showing 0 %.
- betterStatistics, margin by channel: marketplace orders that come in through your shop (bol.com, Etsy) show as their own channel.
- fixedStatistics on a phone: product names start at the left and end in an ellipsis, and the table fits without scrolling sideways.
2026.10.17-317 Oct 2026
Order true cost and piggy bank pictures
- fixedOrders, true cost: a print start that never printed (cancelled or replaced by a new start) no longer adds a second bed of labour, and while a bed is still printing the order shows its filament, machine time and energy from the slice instead of labour alone. Next to the product figure the order says why they differ, for example a bed that held only these pieces.
- fixedPiggy bank files made on the server have a plate picture again, in the colours you picked, so Files and Bambu Studio show what it looks like.
2026.10.17-217 Oct 2026
Name piggy banks, Clear Plate page, tidier printer settings
- changedPiggy bank maker, new design: the name itself is the money box. Pick a font and a shape (letters only, bubble outline or on a block), a length and two colours for the name and the box; a coin slot on top and a screw or twist-lock cap to empty it. Prints on its back without supports, and shop customers choose the same in the WooCommerce plugin and Shopify snippet.
- changedPiggy bank settings: the outline width and roundness of the bubble, the name on top of, raised on or engraved in the block, how far the name stands out or is cut in, and moving the name left, right, up or down. The preview shows the shape within a moment while you type and loads in the background.
- changedPiggy bank files open in Bambu Studio as a ready project with a plate picture, the name and the body on their own filaments in the colours you picked. Letters only is now bolder and easier to read, in one colour.
- changedProducts shows the stock of each product: how many are on hand and how many you want.
- changedPrinters, Clear Plate: each printer has its own Clear Plate page next to Optimize, with the checklist, the switch, the daily front-open check and the camera checks of the bed.
- betterEdit printer is shorter: Clear Plate moved to its own page and ironing is tuned in Optimize. Ironing you set before keeps being used until you tune it there.
- fixedPrint Queue offers a shared plate only for prints that are still waiting and really fit on one bed together.
- fixedPrinter messages (HMS) for AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT units say what is wrong instead of only showing a code.
- fixedAn AMS slot with a black spool showed the wrong filament when the farm has more than one black of the same type (for example Matte Charcoal shown as Basic Black). It now picks the one you stock, and a correction you make on the slot stays for that spool.
- fixedSettings opened with an error for some farms, and server slicing failed for about an hour on 17 October; both are fixed.
2026.10.17-117 Oct 2026
Piggy banks, Print Optimizer, team roles, safer everywhere
- changedAdd-on Piggy bank maker: a money box with a name on it, shown in 3D as you type and made without supports with body and cap on one bed. Shop customers type the name in the WooCommerce plugin or Shopify snippet and the order is made and queued by itself.
- changedAdd-on Print Optimizer (beta): Printers, Optimize. Test beds per printer and filament for first layer flow, top surface flow, flow, ironing, temperature, retraction, max volumetric speed, support gap, hole fit, bridging and pressure advance; pick the best piece and every later slice for that printer and filament uses it. Smart layers: thinner layers only where the shape needs them.
- changedAdd-on Clear Plate (beta): after a large print the nozzle pushes it off the front into a basket and the next print starts by itself, per printer after a safety checklist, with the camera checking the bed is empty.
- changedTeam roles do what the Help Centre says: owners and managers change settings, billing, team, shops and printers; operators run the printers and the queue; packers pack and ship; viewers look. Buttons a role cannot use are hidden.
- changedProducts, Non-printed parts: screws, magnets, inserts and other extras per product (from a library under Settings, Costs, with optional stock), counted in what one costs, the price advice, the true cost of an order and statistics.
- changedNotifications on your phone: push, WhatsApp or SMS for filament changes, failed prints and finished prints (Settings, Notifications).
- changedLetter maker and SVG to 3D come with a PrintSol plugin for WooCommerce and a snippet for Shopify, with live preview, price and the file in the order; all PrintSol plugins share one PrintSol menu.
- changedFill the bed: an order of one can print a full bed and put the rest on the shelf (one-part products). Sets (1, 5, 10) share the stock of their single.
- changedShipping: each open order gets the real Sendcloud rate for its country, the label uses the courier of the shipping profile, and Settings, Shipping & labels, Who ships? covers print-only farms (no labels; the order completes once its prints are confirmed).
- changedProjects from MakerWorld: paste a link and PrintSol fetches the print profile, files it and makes the project.
- betterCosts: labour counts each step once per bed, a shared bed is charged per piece, and an order says why its true cost differs from the product.
- betterStatistics: utilisation counts from when each printer was added, energy is marked modelled or measured, and labour shows hours and cost.
- betterSmart slicing skips printers that are too small and says when a part is too big for every printer; the preview box has the size of that printer. A failing slice tells the bell why and tries again after an hour.
- betterAMS trays are named A1 to A4, a roll change while idle is quiet, and "idle" must last 30 seconds before it counts as an error.
- betterSecurity: tighter checks between farms, safer sign-in (Google, passkeys, password reset), support sessions limited to what support needs, shop and file imports checked more strictly, and label purchases protected.
- fixedColour matching from shop orders in every language, model pictures the right way up, slice and plate previews, project cost estimates, and active add-ons staying in the menu.
2026.10.13-1113 Oct 2026
Print settings everywhere, safer plates
- changedA part remembers how it prints (quality, supports, own profile, copies per bed) from the slice you made, and every place you plan a print has a Print settings picker: part, product recipe line, project, file queue card, queue Edit and MakerWorld.
- fixedThe queue only uses slices made with the same settings, and only prints with identical settings share a plate; a print that already fills its own bed is never combined.
- fixedA plate print uses the AMS tray holding the filament of the plate, and is refused when that filament is not loaded.
- fixedPlates follow their prints: they close when their prints are cancelled or their print ends, and never stay on printing with nothing on them.
2026.10.13-1013 Oct 2026
Auto-combine, printer prices, revenue with shipping
- changedPrint Queue, Auto-combine: prints of the same filament that wait for a printer are put together on one bed when they fit. Prints that do not fit go separately.
- betterAuto-print also starts plates once they are sliced, on a free printer of the right model with the filament loaded.
- changedSettings, Costs, Printer prices: set the price, end value and lifetime for all printers of a model at once, and see the machine cost per hour. A default printer lifetime is used when a printer has none.
- betterRevenue ex VAT is what the customer paid minus VAT, shipping included; the shipping line on an order is the real label cost.
- changedPrint Queue in the menu shows how many prints finished and wait for Confirm and cleaned.
- fixedBuild the plate uses the exact filament, also when two filaments have the same name.
2026.10.13-913 Oct 2026
Spool history, filament prices, smarter projects
- changedFilaments, Added spools: every spool you added, with edit (price, weight, supplier, date), remove for unused spools, and one price for all spools without one.
- changedSettings, Costs: a default filament price per kg, also per material type. Without a spool price, costs use the average price of your spools of that type, then your defaults; the cost card says where the price came from.
- fixedA project goes back to planning when its prints are taken out of the queue, and a queued project has a Take out of the queue button.
- changedProjects: search parts by name, file or folder, a quantity per part, and copies that fit on one bed print together. Parts set to whatever is loaded print in one colour for the whole project.
2026.10.13-813 Oct 2026
Shelf stock, VAT per order, tidier order buttons
- changedProducts you keep on the shelf: an order takes what is free first, and a print to stock is queued only when the shelf drops below its target. An order fully from the shelf goes straight to Pack and its work label prints with a FROM STOCK banner.
- changedPrinted-to-stock units go back on the shelf with the On the shelf button in Pack.
- changedSettings, VAT: no VAT, home country only, OSS, or what the shop charged, with your home country, prices incl. or excl. VAT and rates per country. The order money panel starts with Customer paid and the VAT line.
- betterOrder buttons: the shipping label and Mark shipped on one row, the work label, Hold and Cancel on the next, all the same height.
2026.10.13-713 Oct 2026
Scan twice to ship, Sendcloud labels, full addresses
- changedScan a work label a second time (within 15 minutes, every part printed) and PrintSol makes the Sendcloud label and prints it on your label printer.
- changedWith Sendcloud set up, the order has a blue Sendcloud label button; once the label is printed the order is marked shipped and your shop is told: WooCommerce gets completed with a tracking note, Shopify a fulfilment with tracking.
- betterMark shipped also updates the shop. If the shop refuses, the order stays shipped and the order shows "Try shop update again".
- fixedAddresses from WooCommerce and Shopify are read in full (street, house number, additions, company, phone), for Sendcloud, the labels and the order view.
- fixedEdit order shows the product of the line and its street and number; saving without changes changes nothing.
- betterThe Work label button opens exactly the label the label printer prints, and the note the customer left in the shop shows on the order.
2026.10.13-613 Oct 2026
Spool scanning on the phone
- fixedScan a spool on a phone: the window opens full screen and asks for the camera straight away (the barcode field no longer pops up the keyboard first).
- betterWhen the camera is blocked or missing, the scanner says why and how to allow it.
2026.10.13-513 Oct 2026
Clearer supported printers list
- betterSupported printers: models whose control is not tested yet say "Slices · control untested", and nozzle sizes are listed in order.
2026.10.13-413 Oct 2026
SVG to 3D, every Google font, and two shops as one catalogue
- changedSVG to 3D add-on: upload an SVG, set the size and depth, and get a printable model (one part per colour if you like, with a base plate, hanging hole, mirror or as a stencil), with a warning for lines too thin to print.
- changedLetter maker: search all Google Fonts with a preview of your text, or upload your own fonts (TTF/OTF/WOFF) for your farm.
- changedLetter maker defaults (height, depth, font, style), and a Products section to connect products to the Letter maker in one place.
- changedPersonalised orders read the font, letter height, depth and colour from the order, in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian, within the limits you set per product.
- betterOrder colours are read in six languages for every product; a product without its own colour uses your default colour.
- changedTwo shops, one catalogue: a product from a second shop with the same EAN or SKU links to the product you already have, and the products overview shows which shops list each product.
- betterShop orders are matched by your mapping, SKU, EAN and exact name, for WooCommerce and Shopify alike; Shopify orders left out because of an unmapped item are imported once you map it.
- fixedWork labels always fit on one sticker, list the parts of an item with a checkbox each, and show the QR code and barcode properly.
- fixedA print that had only just started is no longer counted as finished when the printer still reports the previous print.
2026.10.13-313 Oct 2026
Add-ons, the Letter maker, personalised orders and resizing
- changedAdd-ons: paid extras you switch on under Add-ons (above Plan). They are billed monthly with your plan; with a yearly plan on one separate monthly add-ons invoice. Cancel any time, effective at the end of the term.
- changedLetter maker add-on: type a name, pick a font, height and style (standing letters, one piece, on a base plate or keychain), see it in 3D, and send it straight to the queue, a project or a new product.
- changedPersonalised shop orders: mark a product as personalised and PrintSol reads the name from the shop order, makes the letters and queues them. Missing or invalid text is flagged on the order with a field to fix it.
- changedResize any model by percentage or exact millimetres, per part and per product variant (S/M/L from one model). The original file stays as it is; the slicer gets the resized model.
- changedInvoices: search, filter, select and download several at once as one ZIP on the Billing page.
- changedImport one shop order again from Settings → Channels → Sync log (by order number, or "Import again" on an order that was left out).
- betterOrder progress counts prints that are done printing and turns green when everything is printed; Statistics product margins use the orders' own costs.
- betterScanning lives on the Filaments page; the Scan item left the menu.
2026.10.13-213 Oct 2026
Marketplace items without a shop product
- fixedMarketplace orders from Commerlo whose item is not a product in your WooCommerce shop (sent as "1× title (SKU)") are now read as items instead of being left out.
- betterShop items are matched by your mapping, then by a product with the same SKU, then by a product with exactly the same name.
- changedMapping shows likely products for an unmapped item (also when the shop title is English and your product name Dutch), and mapping it imports the orders that were left out because of it.
2026.10.13-113 Oct 2026
Invoices, VAT and new terms
- changedBilling details: choose private or business, add your company, VAT number and address. EU business VAT numbers are checked with VIES; a valid one means reverse charge.
- changedEvery payment now gets a PrintSol invoice (PDF), e-mailed to you and downloadable on the Billing page, with a history per subscription. Refunds come with a credit note.
- betterPrices are shown excluding VAT, with a Private / Business switch on the pricing page; checkout shows the price, VAT and total before you pay.
- betterNew terms: cancelling always takes effect at the end of the current term, there is a section on add-ons, and consumers get a clear right-of-withdrawal section with a model form. You will be asked to accept them.
2026.10.12-1612 Oct 2026
Klipper and OctoPrint printers, tested for real
- betterPrintSol Bridge 0.9.3: Klipper (Moonraker) and OctoPrint printers are now tested against Klipper and OctoPrint themselves: upload, start, progress, pause, resume, cancel and finish all work. Download it from the Printers page.
- fixedShort prints on Klipper and OctoPrint printers are no longer reported as failed starts.
- fixedA Klipper print stopped by an error (such as "Move out of range" or an emergency stop) now shows as failed with Klipper's own message, instead of paused or cancelled.
- fixedResume right after pause on OctoPrint, file names with spaces or # on OctoPrint and PrusaLink, and clearer reasons when a printer or its camera does not answer.
- betterSupported printers: Klipper and OctoPrint models are marked "Slices and controls (beta)" until they have run on a physical printer.
2026.10.12-1512 Oct 2026
A blog with guides, news and updates
- changedThe blog has three sections: Guides, News about 3D printing (new printers, firmware, materials, always with sources) and PrintSol updates.
- changedFollow the blog with its RSS feed at getprintsol.com/blog/feed.xml.
2026.10.12-1412 Oct 2026
Scan with your phone, a calmer queue board
- changedScan page for the phone (Printing → Scan, or the scan icon in the phone header): the camera books spools in, mounts or empties them, and opens orders from their work label. The scan windows on a computer show a QR code that opens it on your phone.
- betterCamera scanning now works in every modern browser, including Chrome and Edge on Windows and Safari on iPhone.
- betterQueue cards are all the same height; only a card that needs you gets a coloured border (orange: file or filament missing, red: late, blocked or failed).
- betterSettings fields no longer get your e-mail address or saved passwords filled in by the browser.
- changedPages about shipping with Sendcloud and selling on marketplaces through Commerlo, linked from Settings.
2026.10.12-1312 Oct 2026
Bridge 0.9.2
- betterPrintSol Bridge 0.9.2: when a P1 or A1 camera stream drops, the camera tile says why instead of staying empty. Download it from the Printers page.
2026.10.12-1212 Oct 2026
Shipping labels abroad, any printer model
- changedShipping profiles have a kind: mailbox, package or fixed. Abroad, a label uses your chosen method when it ships to that country, and otherwise the cheapest Sendcloud method of at least that size there.
- changedLabels to countries outside the EU include the customs declaration (goods, quantities, values and HS code).
- changedAdding a printer by hand: search all supported models by brand or name; the connection type follows the brand.
- betterA camera tile that cannot load a frame now says why, instead of showing a broken image.
2026.10.12-1112 Oct 2026
Calmer activity log, orange warnings
- betterPrinter notices such as "Inspecting the first layer" are logged as information, not as warnings; only serious and fatal printer messages count as errors.
- betterA camera that does not answer is reported once an hour per printer instead of on every snapshot.
- betterWarnings are a bright orange everywhere.
2026.10.12-912 Oct 2026
No false "print failed" right after a start
- fixedA print PrintSol just started is no longer marked failed (and e-mailed) when the printer still reports idle for a moment while it heats and levels.
- fixedA paused printer shows the reason it paused for (an empty AMS slot, say) instead of an older notice such as a dirty lidar lens.
- fixedA slice the start check refuses (made for another plate) is set aside and made again for that printer, instead of being offered every minute.
- betterCamera snapshots no longer fill the activity log; queue cards name the filament once (PLA Basic · Jade White).
2026.10.12-812 Oct 2026
Prusa MK4S and CORE One slicing
- fixedPrinter profiles that keep their G-code as lists (Prusa MK4S, CORE One) no longer stop the slicer.
2026.10.12-712 Oct 2026
Slicing for every printer, open-orders badge
- newPrintSol slices your files itself, with Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer, for every supported printer.
- newThe menu shows how many orders are open, on a badge next to Orders.
- newOrders that came in before their product had a model get their print tasks as soon as you add the model.
2026.10.12-612 Oct 2026
Bridge printers carried over
- betterPrinters a paired bridge reports are taken over, with the Bambu model read from the serial number; things that are not printers stay out of discovery.
2026.10.12-512 Oct 2026
Plain colours, clean filament names, supported printers
- newColours are plain colours now: a product sold in Black prints on any black filament of its type, so Charcoal, Jet Black and Matte Black all count. Settings default to PLA in Black.
- newOne way to name a filament everywhere: type and finish, then colour, then brand (PLA Basic · Bambu Green · Bambu Lab), never ABS ABS Azure.
- newAdd spools takes the box barcode (EAN), so the first scan of that box already books spools in one tap.
- newProducts: bulk Set colour and the variant colour pick plain colours.
- fixedThe Supported printers page lists all 380 models again.
2026.10.12-412 Oct 2026
PrintSol Bridge 0.9
- newPrintSol Bridge 0.9 for Windows: PrintSol branding on the installer, portable version and command line, with ffmpeg included for cameras.
- newOne driver per printer protocol in the bridge: Bambu Lab, Elegoo (SDCP), Klipper (Moonraker), Prusa (PrusaLink) and OctoPrint.
2026.10.12-312 Oct 2026
Fixes
- fixedSeveral app pages showed an error instead of loading.
- fixedSigning in could fail with “Page expired”.
- fixedA plate whose parts need two beds is taken apart, so each part prints on its own; a task started on its own leaves its plate.
- fixedA start refused by the printer firmware now says to press start on the printer screen, instead of failing silently.
2026.10.12-212 Oct 2026
Passkeys, search, insights and a sync log
- newSign in with a passkey (Face ID, Windows Hello, phone or security key) and an eye on every password field.
- newCtrl K searches orders, products, files, projects, printers, filaments, customers and help from any screen.
- newSync log per shop: when it was checked, what came in, what was left out and why, and errors.
- newParts longer than the bed are turned across it to fit; a slice never leaves a part out quietly.
- newHelp centre with 44 articles.
- betterProducts, Profiles and Calculator open several times faster.
- fixedA hand-set AMS slot no longer adds the misread filament to stock.
2026.10.12-112 Oct 2026
PrintSol goes live
- newPlans and billing with a free trial: Free, Farm and Studio, upgrade straight away, downgrade at the end of the period.
- newWork labels for every print (orders, projects and direct prints) and Sendcloud shipping methods per shipping profile.
- newProjects can be edited after creation, searched and filtered; filament purchase orders from the Filaments page.
- newSeveral parts are packed onto one plate when they fit, as Bambu Studio would.
- betterShop orders with none of your products in them are not imported.
2026.10.1111 Oct 2026
Slicing on the server and every printer driver
- newServer slicing with Bambu Studio and OrcaSlicer for 380 printer models, with smart supports and process profiles (ironing and more) per part.
- newBridge 0.8 for Windows: Bambu LAN, Elegoo (SDCP), Klipper (Moonraker), Prusa (PrusaLink) and OctoPrint uploads and starts, with cameras.
- newMakerWorld models straight into a project, multi-plate projects and combined beds from several STL files.
- newFilament catalogue for Bambu lines with colours, barcode scanning and stock per tray for untagged spools.
0.4.010 Oct 2026
Projects, files, profiles and maintenance
- newProjects — private printing work that queues alongside shop orders, so the scheduler sees everything occupying your printers.
- newFile Manager with the geometry fact sheet read at upload: bounding box, volume, watertightness, plate and material-slot count.
- new"Fits 7 of your 8 printers" on every file, with the reason for the ones it does not fit.
- newProfiles, led by the coverage grid: every material × printer × nozzle combination you print, and which have no process profile.
- newMaintenance tracked against printer hours rather than calendar days, feeding the same machine rate the costing engine uses.
- newSupport tickets with your configuration attached automatically, and time-limited support access codes.
- newHelp centre, blog, terms and privacy policy.
- fixedRegistration returned a 500: Fortify's action classes were never bound, so nobody could create an account.
- fixedA new account had no organisation and signed in to a 403. Registration now creates the organisation, the owner membership and EU cost defaults in one transaction.
- fixedmigrate:fresh --seed produced an empty app — the default seeder never called the demo farm seeder.
0.3.09 Oct 2026
Costing engine and scheduler
- newCost engine: filament FIFO against real spool prices, machine rate from depreciation plus maintenance plus overhead, measured labour, and failed attempts charged to the order that caused them.
- newEvery cost figure records whether it was measured or estimated, and the app shows which.
- newScheduler: greedy earliest-finish across the fleet, producing a real forecast date per order.
- newSlip detection — the gap between the promised date and the forecast date, surfaced before the customer notices.
- newFilament run-out forecasting per colour, with the order-by date rather than just the empty-shelf date.
- newFinished-goods stock with its own run-out forecast from sales velocity.
0.2.08 Oct 2026
Fleet, materials and the two shells
- newPrinter fleet with live state, per-slot filament, lifetime hours and event history.
- newMaterial inventory: spools with landed cost per gram, lot codes, drying state and location.
- newDesktop shell for management and a separate phone shell for operators, who never see costs or margins.
- newLight and dark themes with a shared token layer.
